Scouting The 2019 Nfl Draft: Week 3 Scouting Guide Week 2 - Sport

offered us a platter of stale prospect matchups that didnít get anyone too excited. Week 3 offers up 3 big matchups that have a lot of star power playing. After the season Trenton Cannon Jerseys 2019 , these are games draft guys will be playing over and over again to evaluate prospects. I will be prioritizing games with prospects that fit our primary needs. Those are as follows: Edge, T, RB, G, ILB, TE and CB. Here are just a few games to check out, and who you should keep a keen scouting eye on throughout. If Lee can prove that week 1ís play wasnít a fluke, ILBer might be taken off this list.LSU video station. Auburn (Sat 9/15, 3:30 PM EST, CBS)G, Garrett Brumfield, LSU (#78)Brumfield isnít the biggest guy, but he plays with an anger and an edge. He is a smooth mover, and quick. He would look very good in a zone blocking scheme like ours.Off-Ball LBer, Devin White, LSU (#40)What seems to be a trend with the LBers in the spotlight here, White is very athletic and has great range. Like the others White Jamal Adams Jerseys , he has a hard time getting off blocks. His coverage skills are a plus.CB, Greedy Williams, LSU (#29)Greedy is one of if not the best defensive backs in this class. He has a near flawless resume, but does tend to be in chase mode a lot.Other Notable prospects: QB, Jarrett Stidham, Auburn #8 - DT, Rashard Lawrence, LSU #90 - DT, Breiden Fehoko, LSU (#91) - DT, Derrick Brown, Auburn #5Alabama video station. Ole Miss (Sat 9/15, 7:00 PM EST, ESPN)Edge, Anfernee Jennings, Alabama (#33)Anfernee is a powerful edge setter that uses his hands very well to gain leverage. He isnít that explosive or fast though, which hurts his pass rushing ability.OT Jamal Adams Jerseys 2019 , Jonah Williams, Alabama (#73)Jonah Williams is probably the most well put together tackle in the draft. He is also scheme fluid, which will drive his stock up to being a top pick in 2019.OT, Greg Little, Ole Miss, (#74)Greg Little is a very fluid and athletic tackle who will make waves come draft season. He needs to show a lot more consistency with technique, especially in pass protection.G, Lester Cotton, Alabama (#66)Cotton is an immovable boulder that sets the tone with aggression, and attitude. When he starts pulling, he can latch onto his blocks and utterly destroy them.Off-Ball LBer, Mack Wilson, Alabama (#33)Mack is a downhill LBer that shows a lot of grit taking on blocks and shedding them. Wilson also has the range to chase down ball carriers sideline to sideline.TE, Dawson Knox, Ole Miss (#9)Knox is a great receiving threat with the body size to match. His hands are reliable, and has intimate knowledge of routs being an ex QB. His blocking lease something to be desired.TE, Irv Smith White Marcus Maye Jerseys , Alabama (#82)Irv is another athletic TE that gets overlooked on an Alabama offense. Irv has a tendency to find the gaps in zones, and then exploits them.Other Notable prospects: WR, D.K. Metcalf, Ole Miss #14 - WR, A.J. Brown, Ole Miss #1 - WR, DaMarkus Lodge, Ole Miss ,5# DT, Raekwon Davis, Alabama #99 - DT, Isaiah Buggs, Alabama #49 - S, Deionte Thompson, Alabama #14 Ohio State video station. TCU (Sat, 9/15, 8:00 PM EST Marcus Maye Jerseys 2019 , ABC)Edge, Nick Bosa, Ohio State (#97)Bosa could quite possible be the number one overall pick when itís all said and done. Everything about Nickís game is refined and effective. Edge, Ben Banogu, TCU (#15)Ben is an athletic edge guy that gets off the snap in a hurry. His motor is also top notch. His problems lies rawness in pass rushing moves. He is pretty repetitive.RB, Mike Weber, Ohio State (#25)2017 was an off year for Weber because he was suffering from injuries. When healthy, Mike is a little bowling ball with great balance, and the ability to break loose and separate in space. OG, Michael Jordan, Ohio State (#73)Jordan has a great base that allows him to anchor in pass sets, and plow through people in the running game. His footwork on the other hand needs some work.Off-Ball LBer, Tuf Borland, Ohio State (#32)Injury and strength concerns aside, Borland is an impressive LBer. He has great range to the outside, while also showing the ability to be aggressive at the LOS.Off-Ball LBer, Ty Summers White ArDarius Stewart Jerseys , TCU (#42)Summers is and firecracker off the snap, and packs quite the punch with his tackles. Ty just needs to do a better job of wrapping up.CB, Kendall Sheffield, Ohio State, (#8)Kendall is a heady corner that does well in all aspects of the position, but doesnít poses the strength needed to be a factor at the line. Other Notable prospects: DT, Robert Landers, Ohio State #67 - DT, DreíMont Jones, Ohio State #86 The Jets announced on Friday that they have waived three players, including cornerback Rashard Robinson. We've waived WR Stacy Coley, CB Rashard Robinson and DL Charles Tapper.h..." />Skip to main contentclockmenumore-arrownoyesGang Green Nation homepageHorizontal - WhiteGang Green Nationa New York Jets communityFollow Gang Green Nation online:Follow Gang Green Nation on TwitterFollow Gang Green Nation on FacebookFollow Gang Green Nation on InstagramLog in or sign upLog InSign UpSite searchSearchSearchGang Green Nation main menuFanpostsFanshotsJetsOddsAboutMastheadCommunity GuidelinesStubHubMoreAll 321 blogs on Horizontal - WhiteFanposts Fanshots Jets StoriesScheduleRosterStatsYahoo Jets NewsYahoo Jets Team PageYahoo Jets ReportYahoo Jets Depth ChartYahoo Jets TransactionsYahoo Jets PhotosOdds About Masthead Community Guidelines StubHub ✕Rashard Robinson among three waived by JetsNew,30commentsEDTShare this storyShare this on FacebookShare this on TwitterShareAll sharing optionsShareAll sharing options for:Rashard Robinson among three waived by JetsTwitterFacebookRedditPocketFlipboardEmailPhoto by Frederick Breedon/Getty ImagesThe Jets announced on Friday that they have waived three players, including cornerback Rashard Robinson.Robinson was acquired at the trade deadline in 2017 from San Francisco for a fifth round pick. It was not a well-spent pick. The 49ers had given up on Robinson as a failed Draft pick. The Jets seemed to think they could turn his career around. They could not. He was benched during his first game in New York and saw only 2 more defensive snaps for the rest of 2017. He was arrested in December of 2017, which led to a four game suspension. He only saw 83 snaps on defense after his return. Any way you slice it this trade was a failure.Coley and Tapper had very brief Jets careers. Both signed reserve/future contracts in January after ending the 2018 season without teams. Neither will even last long enough to make it to the start of their first Jets training camp.
