The First Half Of The Jets/colts Clash Is In The Books - Sport

White Kelechi Osemele Jerseys , and the Jets lead the Colts 23-13.The New York Jets started the game big with a quick pick six on a dropped Colts pass. Andrew Luck and the Colts struck back with a quick drive down the field featuring a couple of tight end passes beating Jamal Adams and culminating in a wide open Colts receiver Marcus Johnson on a busted Jets coverage for a touchdown. The Jets responded with a long, methodical 69 yard drive taking up almost 8 minutes and ending in a field goal to re-take the lead 10-7.After a quick three and out by the Colts the Jets took over at their 27 yard line. Sam Darnold coughed the ball up on a terrible pass off his back foot that Colts safety Malik Hooker intercepted uncontested. The Colts then marched to the Jets 1 yard line before the Jets put on a great goal line stand, holding the Colts to a field goal and a 10-10 tie.On their next possession the Jets immediately coughed the ball up again on a Quincy Enunwa fumble. The Colts converted that turnover into another field goal and a 13-10 lead. At this point the Jets were fortunate not to be on the wrong end of a burgeoning blowout, as excellent Jets red zone stands were the only thing standing between the Jets and a 21-10 deficit. The Jets then regrouped with turnovers and scoring drives to take a 23-13 lead into halftime, ending with a brilliant last minute scoring drive led by Sam Darnold. This was a wild, back and forth, mistake ridden half of football by both teams. We go into the second half with the Jets looking to even their record at 3-3 and get themselves into position to make a run at first place in the AFC East.Enjoy the second half everyone. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford? From now until mid April Iíll be putting up a daily poll asking GGN to vote on the best available player from a rolling list of 15 candidates. The idea here is to build a generic Big Board reflecting the communityís view of this yearís draft class regardless of the Jetsí (or any other teamís) particular needs. So for instance, the Jets do not need a QB this year, but that should not prevent you from placing a QB high on the Big Board. Each day we will close the previous dayís poll and the candidate with the most votes will be added to the GGN Big Board. In the event of a tie vote the tie will be broken by surname in alphabetical order. By the time the draft rolls around we should have enough players on our Big Board to cover two rounds of the draft. In the event I have made an egregious omission and a name you think should be on the poll is not there you can write in candidates in the comments section. If a player gets support in the comments section Iíll add him to the next dayís poll.Try not to get overly frustrated if your guy isnít being voted to the top of the board. We all have different views and what weíre looking for here is a composite of the best players in the communityís collective mind. Your views may or may not coincide with the communityís, and either way thatís OK.So letís get to it. Today we vote for the #46 prospect on the 2019 crowd sourced GGN Big Board. Who will it be? Vote early, vote often, and letís hear who you think are the best players in this draft.
